You will enjoy unlimited dives throughout the course where you’ll get the chance to sea Octopus, Rays, Cuttlefish and Sun Fish, as well as the multitudes of different species which inhabit the Mediterranean sea.

WHATS INVOLVED?

Knowledge development through multi lingual online independent study and/or classroom workshops will teach you physics and physiology of diving as well as theory and mechanics of becoming a professional diver. 

Practical application is where the real fun begins and this is where we teach you to become a dive leader and take charge. Our training is not role play with other instructors but real life clients on a daily basis; this is what makes our training stand out above the rest. You get the chance to take beginners in our onsite pool or confined sea sites, take charge with briefings and logistics and guide qualified divers on our excursions and assist the instructors teaching PADI courses, water skills exercises and workshops.

To enrol on the course you need a minimum of 40 logged dives, hold the PADI rescue certification (or equivalent from another dive organisation) and have basic Emergency First Response/First Aid certificate validated within the last 2 years.

DIVEMASTER INTERNSHIPS

We run internships each year over the summer months between June and September. We offer the internship over a 4 month period in which case the Divemaster course costs nothing except for your books.

On the internship you will be very involved as a team player working closely alongside our instructors expanding your diving knowledge not only in theory but also in practice as you will be involved in all aspects of working in a busy dive centre. Throughout the internship you will develop leadership skills and abilities by assisting our instructors with students and beginners onsite and in the pool, also along with the instructors you will be guiding dives with qualified divers and assisting with Discover Scuba programs and PADI Courses, etc.

At the end of the internship you’ll have the opportunity to enrol in our PADI IDC to become an instructor and pursue your career in the diving world! For more information email elishia@scuba-tours.com
